Our client had a kitchen and dining room, separated by cabinets. The kitchen was small and dysfunctional. They wanted to remove the cabinets separating the two areas and have one large open area concept that would give them room for an island and make the kitchen more functional. Our design team worked with the owners and came up with an open area concept, with an island that included a sink and electricity. The dining area just off to the left and we finished it off with a small electric fireplace and some comfortable chairs to relax in.
